In Free Fire, pets are not just cosmetic. They have skills, just like characters. Choosing the wrong pet puts you at a disadvantage before the plane even takes off.
Are you still using the Kitty or the Mechanical Pup? Stop. They have no skills. You are wasting a slot. In this guide, I will rank the top pets based on the current meta and explain which one fits your playstyle.
S-Tier: The Must-Haves
1. Mr. Waggor (The Gloo Factory)
Skill: Smooth Gloo.
If you have less than 2 Gloo Walls, Mr. Waggor generates one for you every 100 seconds (at max level).
Why he is King: In the final circle of a ranked match, you often run out of walls. Waggor gives you infinite cover. He is essential for Squad supports and Solo rank pushers. If you don’t know who to pick, pick Waggor.
2. Beaston (The Grenadier)
Skill: Helping Hand.
Increases the throwing distance of Grenades, Gloo Walls, Flashbangs, and Smoke by 30%.
Why he is S-Tier: 30% is a huge difference. You can throw a Gloo Wall further to save a knocked teammate. You can throw a grenade into a second-story window from a safe distance. For Clash Squad, Beaston is arguably better than Waggor.

A-Tier: Highly Situational
3. Rockie (The Cooldown Reducer)
Skill: Stay Chill.
Reduces the cooldown time of your equipped active skill by 15%.
Best Combo: Use Rockie if you main Chrono, Xayne, or Tatsuya. These characters have long cooldowns. Rockie lets you use your ability more often in a single match. However, if you use K or Alok, Rockie is less useful since their cooldowns are already short.
4. Falco (The BR Speedster)
Skill: Skyline Spree.
Increases gliding speed upon skydive and diving speed after parachute opens.
The Rule: In a Squad Ranked (BR) match, at least one person MUST have Falco. The bonus applies to the whole team. If your team has Falco and the enemy team doesn’t, you will land 3-5 seconds earlier. You get the guns first. You kill them while they are still landing. Falco wins hot drops.
B-Tier: Good for Survival
5. Spirit Fox / Ottero (The Healers)
Spirit Fox: Restores extra HP when using a Medkit.
Ottero: Restores EP when using a Medkit or Treatment Gun.
These are great for solo survivalists who play outside the zone. Ottero pairs perfectly with the K (Captain Booyah) character because K converts that EP into HP instantly.
F-Tier: Avoid These
- Kitty / Mechanical Pup:Â No skills. Useless.
- Shiba:Â Marks mushrooms on the map. Useless because you can see mushrooms easily anyway.
- Night Panther:Â Increases inventory space by 45. Sounds good, but with the new backpack management system, you rarely need that much extra space compared to infinite Gloo Walls.
