Clash Squad Ranked Economy: How to Manage Money Like a Pro

In Battle Royale, loot is luck. In Clash Squad (CS), loot is math. If you lose a match in Clash Squad, it’s rarely because the enemy had better aim. It’s usually because they had better guns, better armor, and more Gloo Walls than you.

Understanding the “Economy” (Money Management) of Clash Squad is the secret to reaching Grandmaster. You need to know when to buy, when to save (Eco Round), and what weapon gives the best value for money. Stop buying the G18 every round and wondering why you lose.

In this guide, I will break down the spending strategy for all 7 rounds of a typical CS Ranked match.

1. Round 1: The Pistol Round (500 Coins)

This is the most important round. Winning Round 1 gives you a massive money advantage for Round 2. You have 500 coins. Here are your options:

Option A: The M500 (Skill Based)

Cost: 400 Coins.
Why: The M500 is a pocket sniper. One headshot knocks an enemy instantly (since they have no helmet). If you trust your aim, buy this.

Option B: Double USP (Spam Based)

Cost: Free (if equipped in loadout).
Why: The Double USP has an insane rate of fire. In close range, it beats almost everything. Plus, since it’s free, you can buy a Gloo Wall or Grenade.

The Trap: The G18

Do not buy the G18. It has low damage and high spread. The Double USP does everything the G18 does, but better. Save your money.

2. Round 2: The Momentum Round

If you WON Round 1: You have money. Buy an MP5 or Thompson. Also, buy a Level 2 Helmet. The enemy will likely have pistols or weak SMGs. You can rush them aggressively.

If you LOST Round 1: You are broke. Do not buy an MP5 if it leaves you with 0 coins. Buy a Desert Eagle and a Helmet. This is called an “Eco Round.” Try to get a lucky headshot with the Eagle to steal their weapon.

3. The “Drop” Strategy (Teamwork)

This is what separates Randoms from Squads. If you have 4000 coins and your teammate has 1000, you MUST drop a gun for them.

How to do it:

  1. Buy a strong gun (like an MP40) for yourself.
  2. Buy a second strong gun (like an M1887).
  3. Open your bag and drag the M1887 out to drop it.
  4. Your teammate picks it up.

A team with 4 guns always beats a team where one guy is rich and three guys have pistols.

4. The Utility Priority (Items > Guns)

This might sound crazy, but items are often more important than guns. In Round 3 or 4, if you have 2000 coins, what should you buy?

Bad Player: Buys an M1887 (1800 coins) and has no money for walls.

Pro Player: Buys a UMP (1200 coins), 2 Gloo Walls (400 coins), and a Mushroom (100 coins).

Why? Because a UMP with a Gloo Wall can beat an M1887 in an open field. You need cover to survive. Never leave the spawn without at least 2 Gloo Walls.

5. The Final Round (Full Buy)

When the score is 3-3, this is the final round. You must spend EVERY single coin.

  • Repair Kit: Fix your vest.
  • Mushrooms: Max out your EP for K/Alok skills.
  • Grenades: Buy max grenades. Spam them at the start.

There is no “saving for next round.” Leave nothing in the bank.

Conclusion

Clash Squad is a team game. Be the leader. Check your teammates’ money (press the scorecard button). If they are broke, buy for them. If you manage your economy correctly, you will have Level 3 Vests while the enemy is still using Level 1.
